PUBLICATIONS, FACULTY ASSIGNMENTS AND AWARDS:
In addition to his JAMS practice, Judge Waddington has authored numerous publications on arbitration and mediation. His articles analyzing appellate cases and offering practical tips to lawyers appear regularly in the Los Angeles Daily Journal. He also writes articles for the Association of Business Trial Lawyers and other legal newsletters. Based on his previous experience as a trial lawyer, he frequently recommends adapting litigation skills to arbitration and mediation. Judge Waddington joined JAMS in 1994 after 21 years of service on the Los Angeles Superior Court.

Judge Waddington lectures frequently to members of major bar associations, including State and local Consumer Attorneys Associations, the Litigation Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, American Board of Trial Advocates, Association of Business Trial Lawyers, the Dispute Resolution Section of the American Bar Association and the College of Commercial Arbitrators.
In his capacity as an adjunct faculty member of Pepperdine University School of Law, he teaches arbitration practice to students at the undergraduate and graduate level.
